Derby 2009

To celebrate Derby this year we had the 1st annual Creekwood Derby party. In the fall we have our annual chili cook off and are looking to add a BBQ rib cook off this summer. We have the best neighbors, better than we could have hoped for when we moved up here. They have been so great to invite us into their homes and lives. Griffin and Emmy love them all and have a great group of kids to play with. So for Derby all the neighbors came over to watch the races and grill out. Travis really got into it and decorated special horse cupcakes for the kids. After the races were over we headed outside to let the kiddos run off some energy and hang out by the fire pit. It was a beautiful day with great friends and food.
