Derby Eve 2009

For the last few years a group of my friends have made Derby Eve a girls' night out. This year was no different. Despite the wet weather Elizabeth, Corinne, Jennifer and myself loaded up and headed over to the Barnstable Brown Party to watch the celebrities make their grand entrances and exits. We had a lot of fun, even though we didn't see as many celebs this year as in years past. We were able to get right up to the barricades at the gate entrance. It was a lot of fun just watching the people who may have had a few too many drinks try to make it down the wet, steep driveway in skinny high heels. We were able to get a few pics of the celebrities (I had to borrow a few from Liz...hope you don't mind ;) ). There were a few (Nick Lachey and Bobby Flay) who were to quick and went out the opposite side from us. All in all it was a great time and I can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks girls for going with me and always making me laugh.
