Christmas in Indy

Last Saturday we went to Indianapolis to visit with Travis' family and exchange Christmas gifts. It started snowing on our way up there and snowed the entire time we were up there and all the way home. We had a great time visiting with our cousins Robin & Dan and their kids, and with Uncle Kevin & Aunt Gail. Once we got there the guys all played Wii with each other and Noah. The little guys Griffin & Levi played trains, while the little girls Abigail & Bailey played games. Casey wandered back & forth between the 2 groups, and Emmy begged for food from anyone eating the appetizers Aunt Gail set out. We had some great food for lunch, then we let the kids decorate cookies for their dessert. After that everyone just visited and enjoyed the company until it was time to open gifts. Griffin got a pirate ship and Emily got a baby doll that plays peek-a-boo which is one of her favorite games. Travis and I received a gift certificate to Olive Garden, which is one of my favorite places to eat!!! Thanks Uncle Kevin & Aunt Gail for all the gifts and for having us up for the day. We had a great time, it was great to see everyone. Hopefully next time Nicholas will feel better and up to playing with the kids.

Looks like a blizzard hit! Maybe it will do that here on Christmas day! ;)
