The Zoo in January...

Last Friday we decided to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather. The temp reached 60 degrees, so we headed off to the zoo to meet some friends. We met Christy and her boys Colin & Carter to let off some pent up energy. The kids played on the playground until they were so 'sweaty' (Griffin's words) that they had to take off their jackets. After they played on the playground we went to watch the tiger being fed. Once the tiger got up close Griffin was not too excited about it, but Emmy on the hand was right up at the gate, saying kitty cat. She was not scared at all. Emily and Griffin had a great time chasing after each other and the boys. Needless to say it was a beautiful day and we all had a great time...best of all the kids went to bed early they were so exhausted.
