Go Bats!!!

This past Thursday we had a friend give us tickets to the RiverBats game, so off to the ballpark we went. We got there early so the kids could play on the playground and work out some of their energy before sitting in our seats. Griffin was so excited about hopefully catching a foul ball, but he never got the chance to catch one. One of the very nice ushers at the exit took care of that though. As we were walking out he asked Griffin if he had caught a ball. When Griffin told him no he went over to a big gym bag and pulled out an old practice ball for him. Griffin was so excited you would have thought he had caught it! Emmy had a great time also, we found out she gets really hyper after cotton candy...won't repeat that anytime soon! She was not a fan of Buddy the Bat at first but was soon waving to him every time she saw him. It was a perfect night for baseball and we all had a great time.
