Today started out pretty nasty. It began to rain almost as soon as everyone got up. So we decided to head out to The Sandbox, an indoor playground for kids. We waited for an hour before we gave up and headed to the Island Playground also inside with no wait. Yea!!! The kids had a blast, there were clothes to dress up in with a castle to play on. There inflatable slides and bouncers, and a toddler area for smaller kids. After that we met everyone at The Salty Dog Cafe for lunch, it was delicious but another long wait. Next we headed over to the lighthouse. Griffin and I were the only ones to make it all the way to the top, it was a beautiful view and well worth all the steps! After dinner we went on a bike ride looking for alligators. There are signs posted everywhere along the bike paths warning you not to feed the alligators. We didn't see any tonight, but we will be back out tomorrow looking again. I am so proud of Griffin he rode his bike for over 2 miles! He will be ready to keep up with the neighborhood kids by the time we get home. Now everyone is in bed and I am listening to the sound of the waves. I can't believe the week is already almost over, we have had such a great time! Thank you Robin & Bobby for making all of this possible, we love you!
