Today was Emmy's 18 month check up. She weighed in at 37 lbs, and measured 34 inches. YAY!! It looks like MAYBE...her weight is starting to level off. She only gained 3 lbs this check up so her curve looks likes it may flatten out instead of going straight up. Her personality is certainly starting to show. She knows what she wants and when she wants it. Thanks Mom for wishing a child upon me just like me! She already knows how to manipulate, not that she always gets away with it. Her speech has picked up considerably. She will say 'tank you' sometimes unprovoked and she definitely has NO down well. She is starting to tell us when she has to potty, but most often she doesn't do anything once on the potty. Oh well it will happen eventually, at least she is showing more interest in it than Griffin did. I think he is the reason for her interest, she follows him around like a little puppy. If he goes to the bathroom she wants to go to.
Here are a few pics, the first one is of Emmy playing outside with her lawnmower. The next one was taken today after her check up. She was tuckered out, she had to get to shots. Griffin cried harder than Emmy he said "it was the worst shot he had ever seen". How funny is that? He was supposed to be holding her hand to help her through it and he was worse than she was.

Love the lawnmower pic.... BTW, Pierce does the same thing with Hope whenever she gets a shot. He'll run to the corner and cry!! Kind of pitiful.
