The Saturday after Thanksgiving, in an effort to promote Small town Saturday, the city of New Albany hosted the 2nd annual Jingle Walk. A group of our neighbors were supposed to go with us. Travis ended up having to go to work and a few others bailed out on us. So with 2 of my neighbors Kris & Diana we went to check it out. We got a souvenir wine glass and a felt scarf for coming down to participate. New Albany has quite a few cute little shops, a bakery and lots of new restaurants. I had no idea some of the shops that were there. There were 16 places we were supposed to visit. At each of these locations a different winery from Southern Indiana was there to provide wine tastings. It was a great night with great friends. We got to sample some great local wines and some not so great wines. Window shopped at some cute shops that we will go back to. After the Jingle Walk they lit up the city, which as far as I could see consisted of 1 tree and some lights on some of the buildings.

That's funny that you said the light up the city consisted of one tree and some lights on buildings. ;) Baby steps!!
Maybe we can check out some of those shops before Christmas!! Wink, wink, nudge, nudge...
