First Grade!!!

Yesterday was Griffin's first day of 1st grade! Where has the time gone? Thankfully this year there were no tears (from me). All morning he kept repeating over and over "I can't believe it is the first day of school!" He was so excited to be going back to school. He had a great first day. The only thing he didn't care for was that lunch was an hour later than last year's lunch! HAHA! There were several of his best buddies from his class last year that have the same teacher this year too so that helped his comfort level greatly. The most exciting thing was the flyer he brought home for the parents information meeting about Cub Scouts. He can not wait to see what Cub Scouts is all about! Now the count down begins for Labor Day to get here...Emmy starts preschool the day after.
