After months and months of training, on Saturday April 25 Travis ran the Derby Festival full marathon...26.2 miles. It was a very emotional day to stand at the finish line and watch all of the participants as they crossed the finish line. Congratulations to all the participants of the mini and full marathon! Our good friends Bryce & Kirsten camped out on the Indiana side and waited to cheer him on at mile 22-24. They had Gatorade waiting for him and Bryce was nice enough to run a couple of those miles with him. This was right after Travis came out of the second park and was feeling pretty tired. Thanks to Bryce, Kirsten & a little Gatorade he was able to make it to the finish line where we were waiting. I am so proud of you Travis...there is nothing you can't do when you make up your mind to do it! I love you!

Well, that's just too stinkin' sweet!! I love the pics of the kids helping him across the finish line. What an accomplishment.
